  I rarely call BCAA for road side assistance but yesterday Dec 20, 2017, I made my first phone call to them for this year. I got a flat tire so I pulled over immediately in a residential area in Langley. I phoned at 316PM and the agent said that the driver should come in an hour. At 439PM, nobody has come yet so I phoned them again. The agent this time told me that the driver should come in 20-30mins. Iphoned again at 509PM as nobody has shown up. They told me that the driver should have come already and after 5 minutes of putting me on hold, the agent said that there's a problem contacting the driver and it should arrive in 15-20minutes. At 539PM, the driver has finally arrived. As soon as he arrived he has told me to contact the manager as he didn't get any phone call until 5 minutes before he arrived. I phoned the manager and he was apologetic and told me that they're going to look at what really happened. The following day, I called them back to follow up. The manager did dig into what really happened and found out that it's their "new system" that caused the delay. He offered me $25 as a compensation that really insulted me. He then increased it to $35. I'm now planning to make a formal complaint and sue the company.
